rubbing on UCA

i just installed BJ spacers and the wheels and tires i have now are from a 98 tacoma. the have some rubbing issues on the UCA because of the BJ lift. i am looking into getting 33x12.5xR15, what is the wheel backspacing i need to prevent this rubbing?

the tire size i have now is approx. 32x11.5R16.

i am NOT interested in grinding the lip of the UCA or getting wheel spacers.

i have heard that 3.75 inches is enough. anyone know from experience?

4" is plenty to clear the upper control arm. You could probibly get away with around 4.25" backspacing (stock is 4.75 for 3rd gen trucks at least).

yeah the wheels i have now have so much backspacing. im looking into getting these on some pro comp mud terrains. do these look like they have enough backspacing with the 12.5's?

Well I can't see the actual backspacing so I don't have a clue. I would ask the seller to measure it for you. If its 4" or less you are good to go.

Its friggen easy to measure. If he has a peice of wood or a straight edge and a tape measure (or ruler) he can get the measurment for you.
