Rotor Rusted to hub? Help!

Rotor Rusted to hub? Help!
Well, 2 days ago... started on my brakes. Got as far as sliding the rotor, and the hub off the spindle... Tried to get the rotor off the hub by taking out the bolts, but the bolts are stubborn and won't come out. Looks like they're rusted in there. Have tried various ways to get them out... I didn't have time to deal with it as it took longer than expected and I had to be to work... so the Yota has been sitting on jackstands in my driveway for the past 2 days. I'm off tomorrow, and was going to take the hubs/rotors into les schwab to have them pressed off, and put the new rotors on... Although, If you guys could give me helpful tips on how to get these things off myself, It would save my a world of trouble, and time in the morning.
I have searched, and found that beating the rotor with a hammer until it falls off usually does the trick... Any help? Thanks

I always clean and repack my bearings when taking that stuff apart. i would not put the back on unless your positive you have cleaned and packed them well. try usin a impact wrench to get the studs out.

Go buy new studs and beat the old ones out with a big ball peen hammer.
Yeah I would say if you have an impact gun, the will rip those bolts right out, that's how I get them out.

I do not think some of you gus know what bolts he is talking about, the best adive I heard was cheater bar and pb blaster, air gun will work if if you have a really good one other wise forget it. Have abudy or figure out a good way to hold the hub then break them lose with cheater bar, my one side was tough like that letting it soak wiht godd penitrant works great, after that you will probably need to beat it pretty good with a rubber hammer, heat works but remember all the bearings and seals on there so do not use to much especialy if you use lots of penitrate which is a must.

how i did mine was i got a towel wraped it around the rotor and used my legs to hold it and broke the bolts loose with my cheater pole and socket wrench worked great and i did it the same way to put it back on it took me a few mins. but it worked

I know which bolts (not studs) the OP is talking about. They go through the disc and into the hub. They're rusted... which is why I suggested heating it. One could use a torch and heat the bolt head and hope the threads busted loose, one could also heat the entire assembly... in an oven for instance.

Abe i was not alking about you i figured you knew what bolts he was talking about but if you really want to heat up seals and bearings that much go ahead but I kind of like the towel around it and puting it in your legs that is a good idea. then two people are not fighting for a good hold.

whoa now.... It's all good. One could heat up the bolt heads with a torch... or... pull the seals and bearings and clean it all up real good so there's no grease (I'd repack the bearings anyways so no loss there).
Last time something was between my legs, two people were fighting for a good hold. It was heated and the seals didn't leak.

Yep, that's what we were doing... and using the air gun.
No luck
Turn the hub over and place it into a wheel that is on the ground.
Now undo the 6 bolts that hold the rotor to the hub.
Stand on the tire to keep the hub from spinning.
Pull the hub/rotor off the tire.
Place the rotor edges on some 4x4s and suspend the hub over the middle area.
Use a bock of wood to drive the hub off the rotor.
Now undo the 6 bolts that hold the rotor to the hub.
Stand on the tire to keep the hub from spinning.

I figure this is the best bet... Will probably try this first.
