Roll bar and Grill guard

I've been searching around for days on end to find a roll bar and a grill guard. I drive windy mountain roads daily to and from work and also have daily encounters on the highway with deer and elk. Does anyone know of a company that still sells either of these for my 1987 Toyota Pickup, or would I have better luck going to a welding shop and having these custom built?

I'd go with an Addicted Offroad or Trail Gear front bumper instead of a grill guard.. As for a roll bar - something out of a Ranger or Nissan should work, very similar beds.. Check craigslist etc.

grill guard won't do squat but kill bugs, deer and elk would turn it to scrap and the rest of your truck.
Like exist said, something real..I would trust my life to something like an ARB bumper...
my old '05 taco:

you can find good deals on used ones for your truck, there might even be on in the YT classifieds..

A lot of guys will call brush-guards or grill guards, damage multipliers.
They tend to do more damage to a vehicle when hit.

I had a smitty-built brush guard (from a jeep) modded to fit onto my truck. It worked well but really was just for looks. It was destroyed when someone hit-and-run my truck in the night.

Don't waste your money on something like that. Get something that bolts to the frame and be used to mount a winch.
Something like that will take a good hit and still protect your vehicle.

ARB's are well know to be deer-juicers. A couple guys in a local toyota club have hit deer and still have the same bumper showing no damage.
