Rn61-64-66 ????
What is the difference in between the truck designation
RN61-63-64-66 ?
i do have a RN64, i am looking at exhaust system but my local vendors, which are totaly incompetent tells me only system meant for the RN64 will go on.
I know the differences are quite small...
thanks for any inputs.

like mines an LN66 i believe, i pay no attention to it because so far it hasn't yielded me any different or cheaper parts LOL
just go to your local exhaust shop and have them custom make you an exhaust, 95% of the time its A LOT cheaper

is there a difference in between the front pipe from a carbed 22r and a efi
22rec for 1986, the pipe right next to the cast iron manifold ?
its because local part supplier only list for 1988 and it has the 02 sensor bung at the end of the pipe that needs to be blocked off, since on mine it is into the cast iron manifold.
I know i can just shut it off but it pisses me off.
thanks.

i am talking about the pipe that goes from the cast iron manifold up to the catalytic converter. no egr there. mine is connected at the cast iron manifold.
the pipe itself makes a Y right next to the manifold and get 1 3/4 up to the cat.
I do have for now the 88' pipe with the 02 bung welded off (and rotten out this is why i need to replace it). If the carbed pipe fit without the 02 bung i will be happy.

OH! you mean the pipe that connects the Manifold to the Cat!?!?!?!?......why is that causing a problem....like i said before, GO TO AN EXHAUST SHOP tell them you want 2.25" exhaust from the manifold back with a (insert muffler of your choice here) muffler.
if you have to have a cat for smog reasons then get a Magnaflow hi-flow cat, if not just chunk yours.
if you have the O2 sensor bung plugged, then don't worry about that part LOL.
to answer your question, YES. a carb'd pipe will fit to an EFI truck

it is NOT causing a problem, its because i want to buy the one without the 02 bung. The shop will still need that pipe because of the Y branch at the manifold, at least part of it, mine is mia.
I wont go to a muffler shop, but id rather make my own with mandrell bent tubes if i ever go that far.
**carb pipe fit, thats all i wanted to know, thanks.**

fyi...the efi pipe is cheaper than the carb pipe (carquest, 50$ less !!).
ive been quoted at 350$ to make a complete custom exhaust. for 300$ i got all the parts NEW from carquest to make the oem fit install from a to z, including gaskets, brakets and o-rings. I precisely choosen the 2" system from the V6 types, direct bolt-on (instead of the 1 3/4 for the 4 cyl.) maybe a slight improvement over stock, who knows...for the same price !!
Walker sourced parts...they have a nice online catalogue.

holy crap!!! $350 for an exhaust, jeez you guys get raped up there LOL
it was gonna cost me $110 for a complete exhaust from my header back (2.25", with muffler and no cat...i'm carb'd) but i just got a turndown put on and it dumps right under the back of the ab (bad idea..don't do it LMAO)
i don't get why you wanted to use the carb pipe instead of the EFI pipe...just because it doesn't have the O2 bung??? you said yours was blocked off!?!?!? you basically waste money just by getting the carb'd pipe (unless it was free LOL)
