what do these lines really do, can I just cap them

Do you mean the hose that comes off the top of the air filter box, goes to the resonator, then goes from the resonator to the large steel line that runs beneath the plenum?

If you remove your PAIR valve and cap the vacuum lines related to that then yeah you can ditch the resonator and cap the bib on the air filter box.

If you are keeping the PAIR valve in operation, just ditch the resonator and run some radiator hose from the air filter box straight to the steel line.

Sounds like the ISR mod would be good to consider

ok i cant get the image to load but yes those line from the resinator can i just bypass so i can remove both line with no effect on engine?

Did the isr mod, need to make an adaptor at work tomarrow, then I can just hook an air filter right to the afm. Looks cool with all the airbox junk out.
