rerebuilt 22re, no power! :(

i dropped her in, timed her up. thought she was runnin good. but she aint got no power, couldnt make it up my driveway. what do yall think?

had the same problem.

timing was the issue

What did you do to the clutch and all the components is the engine sputtering or running fine , if running but no moving much its the clutch
the e brake is off right

R U crazy!? LOL.

There are countless things that could be wrong if the truck is sluggish/no power. If the clutch is dead, the RPM will rise faster than the truck accelerates, usually accompanied by a burning brakes smell.

On a rebuilt motor, the #1 reason for lack of power is incorrect/improper timing.

i believe we did the timing incorrect. we didnt jump the diagnostic box and it wasnt at the correct idle speed. so were gonna redo it tommorrow the right way.
