Replacing TPS

Replacing TPS
I have been plagued with a high idle and have finally diagnosed it to be a faulty TPS. I'm wondering if I am able to buy a new one from LCE and just do a straight swap with my current bad one or if there is any calibration required? It looks as though its as simple as unplugging it and removing the two screws that go into the throttle body. Any help as always is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

The two screws fit into slots so that you can rotate the TPS ... to calibrate it. So yes, if you replace the TPS you must adjust it.
How did you determine it was a faulty TPS?

4Crawler has a good write up on adjustment for 22RE. I think it is easiest when you have the throttle body off when you do it.
Also a good time to replace the mounting screws with socket head type.
Just Google 22RE TPS adjustment.
