replacing Fuel Line?
I'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump in a 95 4runner and as some of you who have done this may know the flare nut fittings are a pain to get off. I had to resort to cutting the line in order to get one off. My plan is to replace the hard line from the sending unit to the filter with high pressure flexible line from Earl's. My question is, does any one know what the tube diameter is and the thread pitch of the smaller end of the stock fittings. There are numerous adapters available, I just want to try to get the correct ones on my first try. Thank you for any help.

After reading through your build description you would be the last person I would expect to advocate sticking with stock. Nice machine by the way. With a little help from Earl's plumbing I think we've got it figured out. Thanks.

if you really wanna try and get it on the first shot try going to napa (if you have them) and getting a few differnt sizes and take them home see what one it is and when you need to go back for the forgotten part or tool you can take them back the ones you dont need or just take the old fuel pump to the store and try out a few to get the right one
