Replaced clutch master, and I now have a bigger leak

So I replaced my clutch master cylinder in my 1993 pickup today after noticing it was leaking back into the firewall. I put on a new aisin part, it bled just fine and test drove great. However later on when I went on a slightly longer trip, about 60 miles round trip. I had to top off the reservoir 3 times. The clutch would also grab (pedal to the floor)in reverse after the truck sat for a while, after I pumped it up it felt better. So I got home and checked the lines and fittings and everything was tight. So is it possible that the slave is leaking now as well?

It's a good possibility. If both were original prior to you working on it, they have similar lifespans. It is also possible you still have air in the system, this would explain the funky pedal feel but it wouldn't explain your fluid loss. Filling an empty system wouldn't take that much fluid. I would suggest you check the slave cylinder, and all the lines and fittings. Don't just look at them, clean them up so any new wetness will be apparent.

Here's a video I made when I replaced both parts.

Well I know the master wasn't original. I'm not sure about the slave. I'd dare to say it was replaced at some point since the frame and body of that truck has 260,000 miles on. The slave cylinder certainly doesn't look new. Went ahead and ordered a new aisin this morning. Should get here tomorrow
