Repeat after me... "BLING"-"BLING"...pics!!!
So, I was rotating the tires on the Runner at my buddy's house today... and he just happened to have this "BLINGIN' (?)" set of rims sitting in his garage that came with his '05 Tacoma...couldn't resist.
Before.
After.
I've never seen any vehicle go from "nothing special" to "SHADY" so quickly! BTW this thing went from "dog" (3.0/auto/4.10s) to "weiner dog with a limp" just as quickly on the road. Surprised to say nothing rubbed tirewise with the bone stock set-up. (385/60/18s). Honestly, I need to get these things off before they grow on me anymore...I hate MY rims but I'm leaning towards blacking the rims out, rather than 18" chrome. What do you guys think ?!
FYI... these rims (KTM (?)) and tires (Cooper (?)385/60/18s) ARE for sale here in Denver (Highlands Ranch). The tires are what you might expect tread pattern wise for this size/wheel combo but they do have excellent tread depth left. They're going "cheap" too so let me know if you are interested!
Anyone know what a 385/60/18 translates to in a 15"? They measure about 32" but are about a mile wider than my 31/10.50s.....

OK guys...this wasn't for real!!! I just threw them on for the hellofit because they were there and I was pulling all my wheels off for a rotation anyway. They are no longer on the truck as of an hour ago.
I'm sure none of you haters are interested, but for all of you "PLAYAS," these rims and tires are for sale and would look ghetto fab on your ride. My buddy would be stoked to get them out of his garage. I mis-typed...the size is actually 285/60/18, Cooper Discoverer H/Ts and the rims are stamped with a KMC (?) logo. Not sure what he wants out of them, but I could find out if anyone is interested. He's been talking about putting them on Craigslist for the past year now.
Truely, these wouldn't be terrible with some serious M/Ts on a lifted truck, but who really wants to deal with an 18" rim ???
They are what they are, and I just don't roll like that. haha.....
