Removing tailgate glass

Removing tailgate glass
I have a 92 4runner with a broken tailgate window, I picked up a tailgate from a 91 4runner with the glass in it. I would like to remove the glass from the tailgate that I have bought and put it into my truck, however I cannot figure out how to remove the window from the metal/rubber slots that hold the window at the bottom.
I know there are other threads on the subject but so far have been unable to find any info on this particular issue.

After you pull the covers there's a limit switch on the right side of the tailgate.Unplug the connector and jump it with a short piece of wire.Use the key switch in the tailgate or have a helper push the button in the console to roll the window up while you guide the window out. Then slide it off the rollers. As for getting it out of the new tailgate your on your own.

Here is how I got my window to go up while the door was open.
You can jump your new door like bigblock is saying, but use a screw driver to push the locking hooks in so the door thinks its closed. Doing that will allow the window to go up. Then take the panel off and remove the arms from the bottom of the glass, i put a square around the hook I'm talking about. I'm not sure how to jump the window, but I have heard that you just run some wire from the battery to the supply line of the window motor and depending on which wire you connect it to it will go up or down. This should work while the door is off just as it did while i had my door down.
