Removing bed 93 ext cab 4wd

Hello everyone my search for a bed is over. I found a rust free bed finally and just got it home the other night. Last night I took off the inner fenders and mudflaps, and got all the surface rust off the bed, then I power washed it. Alot of the bolts broke off so that is what I am gonna be working on tonight. After I get all the bolts I need I am going to chassis saver the underside of the bed. I was wondering if anyone could inform me on how many bolts and where at on the truck I am gonna have to take out to get my old bed off. And any other things I should do to this bed before I put it on the truck, thanks. The new bed is white, old bed is the green one

if you mean just the 6 bolts that hold it to the frame there are 3 on each side

- when you go to remove your bed, be sure to undo the fill hose for the gas tank
- swap the lock for your gas door to the new bed

Start soaking the bolts with PB Blaster. If you are going to be using the old bolts, I suggest using blue locktite. It seems no matter how tight I retighten the bolts, they tend to loosen up without locktite on them.
