You will see a MAJOR reduction in power with the 33s. Stock gearing?

Do you offroad much? If not, I'd stay with the 31s. I've seen ppl go through ☺☺☺☺☺ you wouldn't believe with stock tires. Depends a lot on the driver's ablility & the aggressiveness of the tread.

I'm running a STOCK Toyota exhaust & I've never felt like it's restrictive. Mine runs great (see this video): Click here to watch Hitting-90-mph-in-the-Yota-w1000-lb-load

That was with a 1,000 lb tractor in the bed!

if you are going with bigger tires and you off road i would regear. If you cut the cat off i believe it will constanly throw the check engine light.

Cutting that cat off will not only make you an asshole like me, it MIGHT gain you 1 horsepower or make you lose 5 cause you got jack ☺☺☺☺ for back pressure especially since you got a flowjunk on it, and itll make you able to hear the workings of the engine better, Somewhat not that much, and its gonna make it hella louder and illegal, so if that 1hp gain is really worth 10 grand in fines to you, then by all means, ☺☺☺☺in do it! oh and next time use

Totally up to you if you chose to cut the cat off, I would recomend going with a highflo so you still have some emissions controll..

If you go to a 33x10.50" tire then the power loss will be considerably less then a 33x12.50" tire.

Actually, a 31x12.50 would be less power loss than a 33x12.50. Diameter is the key.

i slapped a flow master (not flowjunk) on my 93 reg cab 22re and drilled a 1 3/4 inch hole threw my cat and it seemed to give me some more power. btw dont listen to all the hippy tree huggers about the emissions. its not like your the only one out there with no cat.... thats my oppinion and i go bye cops all the time they dont give a rats a$$ about sound. (but thats just the po-dunk town i live in)

Around here dual exhaust costs about $600 to get done(not including tips).

Apart from "looking cool" why do you want to go with duals? it's just more exhaust piping and a lighter wallet. Considering you've got a 22RE you arn't going to gain anything.

As for cutting the cat off...again, why? The only way you will really gain anything is if your current cat is clogged. It'll be a bit louder, but no more power.

Having dual exhaust on a 4cyl? V8 always, 4cyl is just a waste of money.

As far as the whole gearing thing, I run 33's with stock gearing and for everything I've gone through so far, its just fine. I'll regear when I go up in tire size.

Haha Im just pulling your leg, I don't care for flowmaster on V8's they make every engine sound the same to me, I do like how they sound on 22R's though~
