Reflex vs Sparkplug Wires

Hey y'all,
Just installed a remflex exhaust manifold gasket on my 22r and while it fixed my leak, I fear it will destroy my #2-3 spark plug wires as it doesn't include a riveted heat shield.

Thoughts, ideas, experience?

Let me know,
Thanks!

I don`t think I had any type of heat shield on any of my 22R series engines when I got them.

As long as the wires are not touching the manifold you should be good.

All of my heat shields are missing since the bolts usually break off inside the manifold. I just make sure my wires are routed away from the manifold and have never had any issues.
