Old Man Emu Rear U-bolt sizing??

Howdy all--

I was just about to bolt up my rear axle to my brand new OME Dakar springs when I discovered the u-bolts are too narrow. OME P/N OMEU53B These fit over the springs but don't fit over the factory bump-stop or factory u-bolt base/lower-shock-mount-thingy.

Looks like I need a 3 & 1/4" inner width u-bolt. At 6:30pm. On a Saturday.... Ugh!! This shows up as the right part number for a tacoma, but obviously doesn't fit my pickup. Any idea on what the right OME part number would be?

Edited to add: Looks like OMEU53 is the right part number according to Slee's website, can anyone confirm the measurements of this part?

Going to call the cottonwood NAPA (redneck beyond the balls NAPA with every Nascar floormat set & a metric s#^t-ton of car parts NAPA) tomorrow & see if I can get lucky & find these u-bolts.

On the bright side, I installed the rear 4.88 3rd & zip locker Randy's R & P built for me. Those guys have the best customer service & tech support you could ever wish for.

Tomorrow will be mounting & wiring the compressor if I can't find any u-bolts...
Thanks in advance...

Just curious how did you come up with the wrong u-bolts??

Did you not measure your old ones or take the pieces along??

Maybe the ones you got were mislabeled or put in the wrong bin that seems to happen all to often

Do the holes of the lower ubolt mounting plate line up with the ubolt? Pretty sure they pass through the plate not wrap around it. Pics?

Yes the plates have holes for the u-bolts to go through .

The plates are on the bottom the bump stop goes on top under the u-bolts

The u-bolts sit of course one leg in front and one leg to the rear of the axle housing.

If it has been apart for a while easy to forget
