Rear swaybar on 1st gen

Rear swaybar on 1st gen
I recently did a 63" Chevy rear leaf spring swap on my 88 4Runner. Great mod, super flexy and a nice ride on and off road. However, it introduced a significant amount of body roll in corners.
Rather than buy an aftermarket rear swaybar (Addco, etc.) I'd like to try to retrofit a stock rear swaybar from a 2nd gen 4Runner onto it. I figure at worst I'll be looking at fabricating and welding on some some mounting and bushing brackets. Then I'll include some disonnects and retain the compliant ride off-road.
Has anyone looked into this before? Sound possible?
