Rear shocks
So I am looking for a solution to the rear coil sag that I can find at a wrecking yard. I have been looking at a couple solutions and I think I might have found two options. Just have to find a couple that are installed on a truck.
I was looking for a set of coils that I Could cut to the right height. They have to be stronger then the originals.
option two... personally the better option. I found a set of rear shocks with coils built on to help the load(but I am open to information from my fellow yotatech members)
the shock number (brand new) is Monroe 58629 Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/com...au_pf_dp_chart
Any other vehicles come with the right ends?
What is the orignal length of the shock in the rear of the 4runner?

I was looking at air bags but it seems that you cant really go to a local wrecking yard and pull some out to put them in. I was even looking at how to attach bungs to the frame and get rid of the bolt style top shock mount. not sure how well that would go over but hey, it would be worth a try on the truck that is now my friends
I traded it last night with a 300 hp Laser that needed minor body work.
