Rear Seat mod tundra rear bench to pickup
I have a 3rd gen 89 pickup dlx and was wondering if someone with a tundra can measure the back seats, if they fit in my pickup im gonna do a swap, tundra rear seats look way more comfortable for passengers on long hauls.

Don't think they'll fit the tundra cab is much bigger. You might be able to add some extra foam to the existing seats but then they might not be able to fold up when not in use.
You could get an upholstery shop to make you a separate cushion that secures around the factory seat with a couple of straps that way you could take them off easily and leave them home when not needed.

It def. would'nt work man... the space behind the front seats on the tundra is much longer than the 3gen xtra cab... also those seats are hinged from the sides which you can't get to [without removing the cab interior] on our cabs. Unless you are extremely short when the seats are lowered they'll be almost right up against the seat backs.
You can see from the stain on the bottom of the cushion those ones overhang the box by a good 3" and that box is about 3" bigger than ours.
Nice idea though...
You could maybe custom make some longer bottoms for the seats you have now and then get them recovered that would give more leg support but reduce avail. leg room.... the back seat of our trucks was never intended for long trips in comfort I fear... that's what the DC we never got was for lol.
