Rear door getting stuck, help!
Recently my passenger rear door has been getting stuck on my 93 (power door locks and power windows) . I popped the door panel off yesterday, and disconnected the rod going to the lock tab right below the window (the one that you can manual pull or push to lock or unlock) and also disconnected the rod that connects to the interior handle. I attempted to take the entire locking mechanism out but couldent figure out how to disconnect the connection between the mechanism and the exterior handle (plus the stupid black plastic cover that kind of wedges into the mechanism wouldn't come out).
Whether i use the power lock button or either exterior or interior handle it keeps getting caught up halfway between the lock and unlock position. I am still able to manually pull the tab on top of the door panel to lock and unlock but it requires lots of up and down before i get it to fully engage.
Suggestions, tips, tricks? If i could get the entire guts out I might be able to pick up a replacement from the yotayard but hoping someone might have some experience and or a solution before I go down that road.
Cheers
