could you link us to some info? I dont see anything on rockstompers web site and have never heard of such a setup. and you shouldn't use hard lines with calipers since calipers float (move)

wow, now THATS interesting..
fyi those are IFS calipers and rotors... not front solid axle calipers/rotors which are different. That's sweet. With Toyota calipers you can hardline since they're not floating like the GM calipers. man, if I had known about these brackets, I would of done that. Why the hell arent these more known? Seriously? Is there a catch 22? I have a spare set of ifs calipers, rotors whole speel.. even solid axle rotors/calipers... oh well, not that i'd swap now, the gm's work fine. And my ego could care less about keeping my rig 100% Toyota genuine. I go with what WORKS.

the ifs rotors have too much braking power for my needs, it would be 50/50. im gonna desighn a setup to use non vented solid axle rotors and calipers to try to keep the 60/40 braking.

I hate draging up an old thread
Well please don't kill me for revising an old thread but I wanted to know your thoughts on Sky Manufacturing transfer case brake. I hate the stock Toyota e-brake, or at least mine, since it won't hold my truck on level ground and I want to do a rear wheel disc brake conversion but money issues and the fact that my rear brakes work but the e-brake doesn't I figured I would do that first then rear brakes at the end of summer or when the money permits.
Thanks

Skys t-case brake works fine. It's not as grippy as I'd like it to be but it works, just gotta pull hard on the cable.
and a tcase brake is only totally effective with a locker! .... otherwise the potential for one tire to spin while the other isnt... is there. I've had it happen, i have a Limited slip dif

niooceeee wish this woulda been around when i was doing the disc conversion. You should market those brackets. That's pretty cool! 4cyl ifs calipers would be MUCH better on the rear of our trucks compared with the wayyy to big and mean GM calipers. They work just the same, I mean, any disc setup is going to be "to good" for the rear. So having a prop valve to dumb it down is neccessary regardless.. i actually run both the original lspv and the manual. Either or isnt enough to dumb down the GM's. And even with both, it barely doesnt lock up before the front does.
