Rear Bumper Bracket - Rusty Bolts
I was going to try and break the nut but I read that they are welded to the frame. Is that true? If so, what are my options? I already PB Blasted the heck out of them for days but no luck. I have access to an angle grinder if that helps.
TIA

I'm pretty sure they are not welded to the frame, actually i'm 99.9% sure they are not. I took thebed, hitch, and brackets off my 88 a few weeks ago with a good freind, and two good breaker bars. Took around 3.5 hours. mostly because the bolts and nuts kept changing size. The bolts break before they come loose sometimes... Keep Applying pressure, something has to give eventually. Sometimes heat can help...but i rarely use it.

3 of mine broke, the last one stripped the threads and spun in place so I cut it off with a sawzall. Just a breaker bar and a good wrench hopefully a properly sized box head wrench you can brace on something to hold the inside while you torque it from the outside of the frame rail.
It's easy, just takes a lot of force to break those suckers free.

I use a propane torch to heat bolts. You can get one for $10-$15, so its cheaper than a heat gun. Hit it with some penetrating oil while it's hot, it'll draw the oil in as it cools.
