Reading and clearing CEL codes

I cant seem to find the process after looking at FAQ's and searching, probably not patient enough. Anyone have a link to the process for a 1994 3vze?

Short TE1 to E1 in the diag connector (paper clip works well) under the hood on the passenger side. Turn on the ignition and count flashes of the CEL.
- Steady flashing means no stored codes.
- Otherwise, a code of 25, for example, will be
- two flashes
- short pause
- five flashes
- longer pause, repeat.

If more than one code, they'll be separated by an intermediate length pause, and then the whole cycle will repeat after a longer pause

To clear the codes, pull the EFI fuse, in the fuse box under the hood, passenger side, near the diag connector.

Also note that there's a sticky link to the entire '93 factory service manual at the top of this forum. Click on it and drill down to engine/MFI System-Diagnostics for the complete info on the diag system, and an explanation of all the codes.

Yes, a little patience is essential when trying to work on trucks.

Here are the codes: http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...85diagnosi.pdf
