Radio/Power issue

Radio/Power issue
I was dropping my gas tank to repair my rear brake lines and i saw a red wire going into the cab under the rear passenger seat coming off the fuel pump. i didnt think much of it and continued my repair. When i was all done i went to drive my truck and my radio didnt turn on, i found it odd because my amp turned on witch means my remote wire is working. I went to check the fuse under the steering wheel and to my surprise I saw that saw red wire going into the same hole the fuse goes into. When i take it out my fuel pump disnt work so its obviously power for it (who ever changed out the fuel pump last was kind of a dumb ass i guess). Anyway here lies the question, whats going on here? I really have no idea and any help from you guys would be great, I know i didn't give a lot of information so ill be watching this thread to provide any other info, Thanks guys

Yep didn't really ask a clear question either that you didn't answer yourself. To paraphrase "PO suck and shouldn't be allowed near wire cutters!"
Gonna guess you just don't know your way around the manual. Look for the COR(Circuit opening relay) section, it controls the fuel pump. And the VAFM FC signal and STA signal from the ignition switch control the COR.

We don`t either !!
Just what are you trying to figure out??
It seems that the fuel pump circuit was comprised in some way and it is now powered off switched ignition power.
Are you looking to return to the stock set up??
Is this the stock radio or after market?? Aftermarket may have a inline fuse that is now open.
You did have the battery disconnected ?
