Question on Throttle Body Part
Hey guys I had to adjust my idle due to "Surgeing when brake applied", and I got it taken care of. I do hwever have a question. I noticed on the throttle linkage that there is a small canister with what appears to be a small plunger with spring that the linkage pushes in when the gas is let off, and lets the plunger extend when giving it gas. Sorry if that description is bad, just wondering what it is, or what purpose it is serving.

If I understand you correctly, that's the "dashpot." When you release the throttle quickly, it keeps the butterfly valve inside the throttle body from slamming shut and causing backfire.
