Question regarding front axel nut socket purchase

Greetings and salutations,

I have two questions: 1) I have recently replaced the inner and outer wheel bearings on my 1992 22re toyota pickup 4x4 reg cab dlx front driver side, and I was unable to torque the axel nut to correct spec without the correct socket, therefore I am going to buy a socket, but wait, I didn't measure the size of the nut, anyone know which one i need for my truck? 2) I wrecked one of the tapered cone washers pulling it out, anyone know a good place online you can buy a bunch of them to have on hand? I am getting ready to replace the driver side .5-axel as the boot has a tear, and I am just getting everything ready ahead of time .

Thanks in advance.

54mm axle nut socket can be found at amazon.com, trail-gear.com has them cheap, or the local Harbor Freight or Sears have the 2-1/8" socket (but they can be 3/4" drive).

I got lucky and HF was blowing out the 3/4" drive 8-socket set for $20. The 2-1/8" works just fine.

No help on the washers.

I bought some Asin hubs off of ebay and was short several cone washers. Im a gunsmith and I have a lathe, so I just made them myself. Maybe you know someone with a lathe? Took about 5 minutes to make them.

I'm sure you could order the cone washers from your local stealership too. They might not be the cheapest option, but they would probably have them for you in a day or two.

Looks like marlin crawler has them 3.75 each. The dealership is asking like 5.12, now its time to make some moves.

Thanks,

Hunter
