Question about Aisin hubs...

Are the factory Aisin hubs from Izusu's a direct bolt-on replacement for factory Toyota Aisin hubs?

Just curious, but I would think the only thing that could be different is the spline count for the axle shafts, but idk, that's why I'm asking...

The reason I ask is because I plan on doing my front wheel bearings here soon (well, pulling the hubs off and inspecting them anyway, and them replacing them if they look worn), and while I had the hubs off I was going to tear them down and rebuild them. Now this being said, it's my daily driver, so if I can get ahold of a set to tear apart and rebuild and have ready to just bolt on in the end, it would be much better for me, as that would be less down-time for the truck.

Plus it never hurts to have spare parts like hubs lying around

thanks in advance guys!

Nope,

Been there tried that. lol. Its close but too many small differences add up to 1 big conclusion. Hope that helps.

Dials and faces are the same, along with some other parts, but where it counts they are not interchangeable...hub bodies are different.
