Put on the tube doors!!
Finally got around to finishing em' up and puttin them on... Huge improvement on visibility.
I was thinkin about putting some sheet metal siding on them, what do you think??

Nice doors and shot, that's a gnarly angle man, very tippy.
As for adding side sheet metal...that would take away from the visibility...but if you did weld up sides, keep 'em the metal color and put it on the inside, that would look good!
And now you need some other tube to match, sliders bumpers etc

Look at your first pic.... the answer to sheet metal is obvious. Where the heck is your buddy gonna put his foot if you put sheet metal on them?
I have a set of AOR doors from years ago. I might need to get them out this summer for the runner, yours look great and they are extremely handy when crawling!

My friend started them and gave them to me partially done so i just had to finish em up, he did a great job with the design and styling i think.
Today i put the regular doors back on but modified the hinges by cutting out the pins and replaced them with removable ones so that the doors can be swapped very quickly, very glad i found pins that were just the right size so that theres absolutely no rattle or sagging with the regular doors on.
And i think im just going to leave them as is because of the visibility factor.
and to answer somebody's question yes those are 31's (Hancook MT's)
