Pulling my hair out!!!!
If its not one thing its another! After I put my 4.88's in a week or so ago I noticed that when the clutch was compressed, accelerating, and keeping steady gas there was a knocking noise. So while driving home tonight the knocking got alot worse and the motor felt like it was loosing compression and the noise gradually became louder and all the time. So the motor has around 4000 miles on it or less. What could it be..... Sorry if this doesn't make much sence or isnot spelled right. Its was a long day in the yard and followed be some Crown. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Sorry to hear about the motor dude. Definately get a compression test. BTW: Thats a pretty bold statement in your avatar. Not sure I'd sport that sticker on my rig but to each his own I guess.

"I'd rather be complaining about the problems in our country but I don't want to do anything about them because i believe that i deserve to have everything spoon fed to me..."
but to make that fit on a bumper sticker the font has to be REAL small.
Just my $.02,
Jon

Nice bumper sticker. Been lookin for that one. Just bought this one (yeah I love bumper stickers)
Still lookin for that terrorist hunting permit one, and the one that has a scope reticle and says Here's My Peace Sign
Anyhoo, back on topic, do the ol wrench on the block and listen to it method... Or do a real compression test, it's up to you...

seriously guys, stay on topic. I would like to hear about wahts going on with his truck not talk about some stupid bumper stickers.
I've seen and read all the silly "terrorist killer permit" and like type stickers, and quite frankly im tired of them.

To say nothing of the fact that it is undisputed whether terrorists are the enemy and should be killed, I frankly find it to be exceedingly poor form to question someone who has sacrificed and risked his life for two and half years fighting for the US on whether or not his bumper sticker is ok.
I see plenty more offensive and tiresome stickers whose maxims and espoused propoganda TRULY are a threat to America. I think the apathetic and dispassionate can bear the patriotic ones for awhile.

ok off the topic of politics and back on the topic of the horrible knocking coming from this guy's 22re. keep your opinions to yourself.
time for a compression test. check oil and coolant make sure they haven't mixed any, though they shouldn't have.
guess thats it, cant really think of anything else, though it is 1am and i just finished a marathon of math homework! yay calculus!

Here's a great place to find 22re parts, or advice or have work done:
http://www.engnbldr.com/
Ted Stanwood (EB) has his e-mail address in the link above and is always willing to share his expert knowledge on the subject. He sometimes stops by this forum but more often I've seen him at 4x4wire:
http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/postli...t=&Board=UBB11
Here's the whole 93 Truck FSM:

OORAH!
