In process of removing EGR, need help!

I just really need to know what the hell this thing is? Is it the EGR temp sensor? Or does that have to stay? I've searched everywhere and cant find what that is...

I have quite a bit of experience, but mostly on modern cars. Do I delete this too or does it stay? I appreciate the help

I just realized, the truck doesnt even have an A/C belt so I'm just going to remove it anyways. I wont use the A/C

Just make sure you plug the vacuum lines after you remove the idle up valve. Search the forum for the diagram, many posts on this topic.
