Check to see if 12 volts is reaching the starter from the ignition wire.

Check your battery cables/ground wire maybe. Did you test the starters outside the truck?

mine did the same thing with Advance Auto starters, so i jsut forked out the extra money for a Napa starter and havent had any clicks from it yet. usually the advance starters would last abouot 2 months, this one has been in for about 3 and no clicking yet.

This just happened to me today. It wasn't the altenator, I was gettin 13.8 steady. And the batt is fine, sitting a little above 12. Come to realize when I jumped it, the main ground attachment on the battery was loose from when I installed my aux lights. So there was enough contact once the truck was running, but not enough to turn her over.

Just double check the most obvious stuff first, then get technical. It's much cheaper.

Similar thing happened on my Camry. Replaced the starter and she still wouldn't turn. The bolt holding the ground to the block had backed out and the cable was lose. Oh well, it's got a new starter that I don't have to worry about.
