Problem

I started my truck earlier, and my volts gauge was about half, and my parking brake light was on, and so was the battery light.. it ran fine, started fine did everything fine, but I redlined the engine and the volts popped back to normal? Whatcha guys think it is? I need it fixed ASAP.

Battery not holding a charge?
What I mean is that you started it and the voltage was low but came back up after revving the engine up. Sounds like a batt to me.
Brushes contact the same at whatever RPM.
