Pro Comp shocks suck

I got the ones for 2-4" lift for 90 bucks online and Ive had them installed maybe 5 months.

The other week I hit a pothole going 20 tops and it felt harsh like I had no shock at all and when i looked the fluid was everywhere. Now i just noticed the toher one is leaking hydraulic fluid as well. It sounds loose again when I hit bumps. I havent even really been offroading

Yeah they are garbage I put some on my 92 and they have lasted 10,000 miles. All of them leak and if have a terrible ride. Looking into getting a decent set something that can withstand a fair amount of dirt road abuse. Anyone have any suggestions?

Lol your point being? Procomps are one of the cheapest shocks available. I had them on my truck for maybe two weeks after I lifted it. They ride like junk from the beginning and just keep getting worse.

I've been planning on bilstein's for a while, but having a baby has put a couple of the non essential things on hold. If I were you, I'd go get myself a good set of bilstein's and be done with it.

I have bilstien's on my dodge and love them. Never thought about looking to see if they make them for the yota. Have to check into thanks.

They do make them for toyotas. Most people love the 5100 series shocks. They ride the best and give the best performance.

OME and Bilstein are the best shocks available for our rigs. But expensive. Bilstein firmer, OME softer.

If going cheap (and you really don't save that much $ by going cheap), I'd lean towards Japan built KYBs over procomps, ranchos, or monroes...

It's funny you say this' because actually, new toyotas come with either with bilstein's or KYB's now.

And Monroe actually makes the ranchos. Their junk too lol
