I've had mine in for about 8 months now. Actually front and rear. Tire wear is a bit heavy on pavement. It barks at me every once in a while around corners. Offroad, works great, superior traction and all I have to do is push the skinny pedal. We do not get ice or snow where I live, but I have driven it in the snow at higher elevations. When it loses traction in the snow the back end tends to swing downhill in a hurry.

Overall, for my trail/hunting rig, I like it.

You have to make sure to run the Flux Capacitor off of Mr Fusion or you're just BEGGING for trouble. Now how am I going to get my 3cylinder 22RE up to 88mph...?

Come on guys, the OP had a serious question. Why do you have to be juvenile and sarcastic when you don't like somethin?if you have a story, great, post it, it will help those of us that are just starting out to decide whether we want to go with Lock-rites or not. If you don't have a story, what's the point in cluttering up the thread?

I, for one, was attempting to be funny. It seemed like the OP's questions were pretty much answered... It wasn't that I "didn't like somethin"

But then I thought everyone had seen "Back to the Future". I'm new here... I won't make the same mistake again. I'll keep my mouth shut.

Nope. The original post didn't contain a question, it just stated "I installed a Lock Right" or something to that effect.

OP: I've ran an Aussie in the back for 2 years now and I havent' had any trouble with. All round I like it. Driving a pickup with a rear locker and bald mud tires on ice is more fun than a power outage at an open-casket funeral.

"More fun than a power outage at an open-casket funeral".... I'll have to remember that one.

OP: I too run an Aussie in the rear (same idea as a lock rite) and it does it's job well although in snow/ice the rear end will break loose and drift the rig down hill in a hurry. Although I must admit that part of that "break loose" is due to tires that are not made for snow/ice. This week I'm installing a Lock rite in the front of my rig and will post up results.

Not a locker- but in 2 wheel drive I goosed the gas uphill on a icy hwy, trans shifted down- the trutrac locked- and besides finding myself in the ditch, learned something that day....

Silly responses to basic posts are just our way of making YT a little more like Pirate.

LOL, you don't have to be a B!%CH either dude

We want to hear your opinion whether you are new or not. Just because you are new doesn't mean you don't have anything to add, just remember to thoughtfully word it, also good grammar is always welcome. Basically do exactly the opposite of whatever I do.

I like how 80% of the posters in this thread don't even have a lock-right, or even a locker..... Jeez

I don't have one either...
