power steering box rebuild?

my 87 pickups power steering box is leaking really bad. granted it has been leeking since i got the truck in 07' but it gotten worse over the years. newly rebuilt ones seem to be in the $300-350 range. does anyone know if there is a rebuild kit i can buy with new seals and maybe new barings? thanks!

Yes you can rebuild them. Napa sells kits. I've rebuilt two. Easy peezy. Lots of writes ups on how too, just have to search

I get a lot of my parts from RockAuto.com. They have a lot of brands to choose from and their shipping is really good too. And you can always find coupons online to get discounts for their stuff...usually 5%. Most of the time they are cheaper than getting parts from Advance or AutoZone including shipping.

Make sure you have some petroleum jelly for the bearings and some patients
