Power brake booster gaskets
Replacing the master cylinder and power brake booster on a '95 4Runner. I pulled off the old booster and found it had a paper gasket on either side of it. My replacement booster didn't come with new gaskets. The guys at autozone are saying I shouldn't need them (not that they are the most reliable source.) They are only a dollar from the dealer, but it is more an issue of time than money. I don't really want to wait 3 days for them to get in. So, do I really need those gaskets? Or should everything work fine without them. Anyone out there done this before and have some insight? Thanks.

I made my own gaskets out of gasket paper. I would put gaskets there due to the fact heat and cold can get in or out. Plus water.... The gasket between the booster and master cyl def needs to be there to keep out moisture for rust issues...
