Nice set up! What size tires? How does it ride on the road? What about high speed on washboardy gravel roads? I've been looking at that kit for a while now and I'm at the point that I need shocks and tires so I might as well upgrade I suppose. Here's my only edited video. I have a bunch a footage up on the rim that I just haven't had time to mess with yet

Nice!!! I want a new/different motor in my 4Runner sooo bad!

The tires are 33x12.5 and regeared to 4:88's.

I still want to do something better for the rear, but as a temporary fix, I put some 2" wheel spacers on the back to try and even out the width. It handled like crap in sandy washes before that because the front tires cut into the sand then the rear kept sliding back and forth between the ruts from the front tires.

It handles like a dream on the hightways and washboard trails are a ton more fun now - I can easily hit 50mph in the washboard washes at Butcher Jones. I still need to get out to Sycamore and really open it up in that wash to see how it really does.

What part of the Phx area do you live? Maybe I can pick your brain when I'm ready to swap a 3.4 into my 89 4Runner

This is a older vid of my truck before I fixed my 4wd. As you can tell this is a 2wd vid lol.

My trucks just about finished up so I will post some good vids then.

Quick vid I shot of my truck right after I washed it. This is for anyone wondering how much of a difference correctly adjusted valves makes on the 22R.

hey v_man, I like that reverse lighting idea you have, are those tied into you reverse lights or a separate switch? I've been trying to figure out a way to make them brighter for a while

They are relayed through a separate switch . They are very bright , low draw lights , you can find them all day on Amazon , $50/pair.
