possible cv binding?

possible cv binding?
About a month ago i installed 1.5" BJ spacers on my 87 4wd pickup, and left the torsion bars in the stock position. After the installation was complete i jacked the truck up so that the tires were completely off the ground, locked the hubs, and while turning the tires by hand i felt to cv binding of any kind. About a week ago after wheeling through washes/desert etc. i forgot to unlock my hubs when i drove to work. On the way to work i noticed a crazy vibration coming from the front end. When i pulled over and unlocked the hubs the vibrations stopped. So after i got home i ordered 1" diff. drop brackets from 4crawler and installed them yesterday. To see if everything was successful, i drove on the highway once again with the hubs locked. Although the vibrations decreased a ton, there is still a noticeable amount.
So my question is... Should these vibrations be expected after installing BJ spacers and a diff. drop while driving at highway speeds w/ the hubs locked?

Well earlier tonight actually, I was leaving the trail getting a crazy vibe (thought I busted my tcase up into the body) so I said crap my hubs are locked, got out unlocked em and the vibes are gone.
I know my front is out of alignment...
Did you get/ do an alignment after you installed the bj spacers ?

i did get an alignment right after i installed the spacers. But even still wouldnt the truck vibrate all the time if it was out of alignment, regardless if the hubs are locked or not?
and as far as i can tell my cv boots seem to be doing ok. im not seeing any tears or holes of any kind.

When was the last time you checks your front wheel bearings? I think that might cause front end vibes.... just something to throw out there.....

mine vibrate on the road if I leave my hubs locked too; the simple solution for me is to not drive faster than 45mph with the hubs locked
just remember to unlock them next time after the trail
my CV boots are shreded (due to a malfunctioning hub that refused to unlock, and with the t-bars cranked a little and some angle on the boots, they fatiqued), and they flop all over the place, which is were I think my minor vibration comes from. those will get replaced though when I install my BJ spacers and all new front end components
