Pizza cutter question
Today I picked up a used set of 33x9.50 BFG/ATs on 15x8 wheels.
Reading the tire specs on tirerack.com it says use a 7" rim.
Should I just run the tires on the wheels they are mounted on or mount them on my factory 15x6 wheels? Would I need wheel spacers or is the rim too narrow for 9.50 tire in the first place?
Any opinions? I have a 1" BL already installed.
I was going to buy 33x10.50 and 15x8 wheels....but I got such a good deal on these locally for $100 (50% tread) that I figured I couldn't lose giving them a try.

first off, wheel spacers are used to move the rim away from the rotor, or drum, so a wheel spacer wouldnt mess with your rim width, just make the rims stick out further on the truck.
it really all depends on what kind of driving your doing, a 9.5" wide tire on an 8" rim should be fine, under normal driving and the manufacter's recomened air pressure.
if your going to air down your tires, or reduce the air pressure the tires will be more likely to slip a bead, as the air in the tire isnt pushing outward forcing the tire into the rim as hard. So you should go with a narrower rim when airing down, to keep the tire pushing outward on the rim even at lower pressure.
the whole name of the game is to keep the bead seated and keep the tires on the wheel.

I wasn't sure if I put the tires on the 6" rims if I need spacers to get the tires away from the frame or not...
I'd be day-dreaming if I thought I was seriously going to wheel the truck anytime soon as 99% of my driving is on pavement commuting.
It sounds like I can just leave them on the 8" wheels and I'll be fine.
Thanks guys!
