Picture of a 22R carburettor and distributor

Hey Guys,
I will begin to reassemble my engine after my gasket has blown.

Can anybody do me a favour and post a picture of his working carburettor where you can see the correct pipe-wiring with the rest of the car? That would be awesome ... my pictures I made did not turn out good.

The other thing is the distributor. What do I have to think about to assemble it on the correct way? Never did it before. Unfortunately I turned the engine to get rid of oil in the oilpump a few times, so the timing would not be correct anymore if I would mount it in the same way it came off. Are there any markers or so? The crank is still in the correct position because I attached straps to it when I dissambled the engine...

Thanks for your answers!

or the ones on the autozone website (that's what I did). Everyone's vacuum lines are different because of emissions, years, options etc.

Damn ... I don't have any diagram under my hood :-(

Thanks for the timing thread. This will help me a lot. You're great, guys!

If anybody has a Toyota 4runner from the year 1989, I would ask you to post a picture of the carb hoses anyways. That would help me so much, I think.

Unfortunately I could not find a diagram for my carburettor on autozone.

Here's a link to a pdf file of a 1988 factory service manual. Not '89, but should be close enough. http://granolaboy.net/temp/toyota_tr...4runner_88.pdf

Some, probably very few by that time. Carbs remained an option until 1990 or even a little later. Can't remember the last year.
