Pics of stock 3rd gens with 31's
First post here.
I bought a 91 Xcab p/u with 30x9.5s on it. It has the 3.0 in it and I assume stock gears. My new 15x8 wheels come in Tuesday and I will be getting tires within the next few days after.
This is not a DD but will be driven on the road and on some trips to the mountains or to the outer banks. Mostly a play truck on local back roads and trails. Gas mileage is not a top priority and don't plan to put any real money in it till I start an SAS.
I am really close to cranking the tBars and using a BFH to fit 33x12.50. But I am trying to convince myself a set of 31x10.50s will look good.
Can anyone give me pics of a stock 3rd gen Xcab with 31 inch mud tires? Maybe help my decision. Can't find much on google search.
Thank you

I'll play. I've got a 93 I bought in stock form with only 31" Michelins added to it. Now has OME 2" lift and 33s
Stock with 31" tires and OME shocks:
OME 2" lift with 31" tires:
OME 2" lift with 33x12.5" Toyos on 15x8-3.75bs wheels. Height was adjusted to 22.5" from center of axle to bottom of fenders, all 4 corners. Front swaybar removed, rear shocks triangulated, bumper trimmed, firewall pounded.

I'm sure you'll be content with 32s, most people seem pretty satisfied after any change they make especially regarding visual changes like adding larger, more aggressive tires. Careful though - depending on which wheel specs you ordered you may end up having to lift or modify sheet metal to fit those tires -- technically you're adding 1.5" more width from the wider wheels and tires.

Just though I would post up my truck after slapping on the set of 32s this past week. They fit with absolute 0 rubbing so I feel I could've gone with 33s. But there was some noticeable power loss with the 32s so 33s may have been to much
