Pics of my 91 Toyota

Here are some pics we have taken of my 1991 Toyota Pickup today...I'ts a bit dirty, and it needs a paint job, but she is one of my favorite vehicles I have ever owned.

hey guys i know this is a little of topic, but, i wanna know whats my best option for fixing my back doors from bouncing around whilst driving. i got a 91 4runner 3.0L, and its really ting me, every bump i hit they just bounce up and down like theres no tomorrow!!

Just a little...lol!

Why not start your own thread? It's a lot of fun...really! It's like...empowering!

Maybe the hinges are worn and/or the latch/striker assembly. That's really the only things holding the doors on.

aren't there supposed to be rubber snubbers that locate the door in the frame, and doesn't the latch also have some adjustment?

Hmmm...not sure about that. I'd have to look at mine. But, alas...the wife is gone with it whilst I'z stuck at home.....frittering time.

That's part of one of the next steps I'm taking with her truck. She wants a few more inches lift, and I'm working that out, but the 22re / auto combo becoming a dog: going from the 195/75r15's that were on it to the 235/75r15's that are on it now took away way too much go power.
So I'm contemplating either an LSD or locker for the rear and regearing to probably 4.88's cause she'll end up with something around 33's on it (she's already got enough room for 31's without a body lift so she'll need taller tires when the next stage of lift get's done).

Considering she spun my 72 firebird around 180 within 20 feet across an intersection in the rain one day (and it has an open diff) I'm not sure what's best anymore, though.
