Pickup fuel tank upgrade
Do any of your guys know if a larger tank from another Toyota model (4runner, 4x4, Tacoma), will fit nicely between the frame rails on a 2wd pickup where the spare tire is?

One option that may work:

Have heard of folks using a tank from some other vehicle back there, or try this:

I found this 19gal/72l gallon tank, but i cannot pinpoint which year and model pickup it was intended for. I would like to find a used one so that i can get all the correct internals. The supplier specifies Vin# RN106, which i think could be a Australian 4 door Hilux. Any input would be appreciated.

i want to know how you intend to fill it... i was pondering the idea of adding a fuel tank where my spare was on my 2000 T4R but how to fill and the specifics were hard to comprehend

I wont have a bed, so routing the filler wont be a problem. You could cut a 2.5"-3" hole and route the filler neck through the floor, or mount the neck to a rear fender using an aftermarket door
