Pic request: 22RE Cruise Control cable to throttle body
I can't find any pictures of how the factory (or even aftermarket) cruise control cable is connected to the throttle body out there. Thanks for the pics!

I can take a couple pictures later today, but until then, then cruise control cable goes from the actuator to the firewall near the actual throttle cable. It goes through the firewall and pulls a little lever that actually pressed the throttle pedal which then of course pulls the throttle cable. When cruise control is actuated you can feel the throttle pedal moving slightly as you go up and down hills.

The cable does'nt go to the throttle body at all, but thru the firewall to the pedal assembly.
I think I have seen a 22re cruise cable connected to the throttle body though.
Might have been after-market, or maybe a later year truck.

Aftermarket cruise controls can be routed any which way. Every one is different. Keep in mind the automatic transmission Pickups/4Runners have a kickdown cable attached to the other side of the throttle body pulley. That cable runs down to the trans and helps it decide when to be in what gear based on throttle.

First, thanks for taking the pictures! But no that an early 22RE with the angled down throttle body-manifold. Mine is straight on late style 88ish to 95. I still love for pictures of anyone who has one of those with either aftermarket done at the throttle body or how the factory did it at the pedal. I looked at pedal assembly pictures on Google images for an hour last night and for the life of me I can't find where or how they attached it to the pedal.
