Passenger Side Gap Guards

So I noticed while changing my oil the other day that I'm missing those rubber gap guards in the wheel well on the passenger side. With winter coming on here in IL, I would like to keep as much salt from finding it's way into the engine bay as possible.

Now I'm not too keen on spending $99+ on some stop pieces of rubber and the local junk yards don't have any, anyone have any leads where to pick them up for a decent price?

Also can anyone point me towards the plastic hardware that mounts the guards? Maybe I can make my own makeshift guards,

If junkyards don't have them, the only thing I can think of is to look at the Yotatech classifieds or Craigslist and find someone whose parting out a truck.

As for the hardware, you should be able to get them at any Ace Hardware.

Pond liner works really good, you can get it at the hardware store.

You can also hack up some cheesy rubber floor mats if they are big enough, also you can get the Christmas tree looking things in the fasteners isle at auto zone, they are for trim Pieces but work great for what your doing they will just push through the stock holes that are missing the original ones they look like this.....

OH I see... Upside Down Christmas-tree looking things - LOL! Saw mention of same in another post and was wondering what they were. All that came to mind was the freshener that hang from rear-view mirror.
