Parts for 93 4runner

Hey guys... This is my first post here and here is a little info. I recently got a great deal on a 93 3.0 V6 4runner. I have never owned a 4runner before and noticed it doesn't have a great amount of power. So I am wondering besides swapping the engine out if there is anything I can do to squeeze a little HP/TQ out of this engine before lifting it? Any help or any ideas were I can look would be great.

Is it an auto? If so get rid of that. Put in a 5 speed.

Performance wise not of much of anything can be done to the engine that is cost effective (assuming its tuned up and in good running condition). The best thing to do for performance with the 3.slow auto is regear the diffs lower.

Things can be done, like headers, but there is a high cost ($$$ & labor) for little gain. No one makes a SC or turbo for it. Gearing does make a big difference however especially with the auto which comes from the factory over-geared. Toyota geared it to go about 140 miles per hour in OD but only put a 150 hp engine in it, LOL. Mine was lucky to pull 70 miles per hour with the factory gearing. After I put 5.71 gearing in it it would pull 90 miles per hour easy.

Here's a set of headers for it:

Okay well here is another question does anyone make a 3" body lift for my car? I just want to get high enough to put 33x10.5 under it.

33x10.50" tire will fit stock with little or no rubbing.

But you can buy a 3" body lift for the automatic at www.4crawler.com

So I went a looked for the lift and I can't find it. If 3" is two much than what should I be looking for? I am just looking to stick 33x10.5 under it with out rubbing.
