Overdrive Grumble.
Well as of tonight when I put the 4runner into overdrive the rpm's dropped as they are supposed to.
But..
Once its in OD I cant accelerate anyfaster than 2000rpms
Whats going on?!!?
I think it may be originating from a problem i have with my injectors because i think one of them is leaking, I can smell gas when i lift the hood, especially when i stick my nose down into the gap between the intake and the left hand fuel rail.
(Its a 3.slow)
thanks!

... you didn't say anything about misfiring or the "grumble" sound.
all you said was that "... Once its in OD I cant accelerate anyfaster than 2000rpms...."
You also said what amounts to saying you thought there might be an injector problem because you smell gas when you "stick my nose down into the gap between the intake and the left hand fuel rail".
I don't mean to sound rude but you need to be more specific in your description of the problem.
