Out of Ideas!!

Ok, so my '94 4Runner has a speedometer out, I've changed the sensor (twice), checked out the cable (electronic), and taken apart the dash to find that everything looks good there. Still, no progress, I still have a non-working speedometer, and fear that it may be a bigger problem regarding the computer. In any case, anybody got some ideas as to where to go from here? I'm not sure if it'd be worth it for me to spend a ton of money on the vehicle since it being so old and has high mileage on it, but I would like to keep it around. Thanks guys!

What do you mean "eveything looks good" in the speedo? Have you tested it, or replaced it?

As Cougmeister implies, you can't always tell if an electro speedo is good or not just by looking at it.

You'll need to jack the rearend up to run the test.

If you don't find a problem there, then look at the ECU.
