The batteries my Toyota dealer sell are made by Interstate and labeled Toyota. They are priced about the same as Auto Zone or O'Reillys. I run the 24 size.

The Sears Platinum/Odyssey batteries are supposed to be the best right now. I went with an Optima in the '89 due to the three year guaranteed replacement and a huge coupon from Advance Auto. I live about three miles from one. My Interstate had under four years on it and it would no longer charge. Advance is running a $50 off coupon this weekend. Pay online, use the coupon and pick it up in the store.

BTW My 2008 used 4Runner is still running the original Toyota battery!

I will never again buy a car battery that isn't AGM/ deep cycle. But then again, I live amongst deserts where CCA is about as useless as a cold start injector.
