So I finally got the chance to take my toyota to a few body/frame shops to get a quote to get the front end fixed, and they averaged around 2,600 dollars. Since I have almost no attachment to this truck I thought I could sell it and buy another one with no body damage.
Here's where I need some opinions/advice, I'll be looking at another truck or 4runner of the same body style, leaning toward the 4runner. Should I buy one cheap not running and do a 3.4 swap or pay more for one running with the 3.0 and swap when it dies. Looking at auto and manual trans 3.0's. I'll I've read is stay away from the 3.0's but I defiantly don't want a 22re and that leaves no other stock engine choices.
