Exclamation oil pressure gauge

i recently changed my oil/filter etc

now my oil pressure gauge only goes up a little

i,m not losing oil

i recently changed oil/filter again
but no change the pressure just goes up a little not passing a few millimeters

what can cause this..how do i fix it

The sender might be going bad. Mine likes to sit at 0psi when not under load. Stupid crappy stock guages.

I'd double check how much oil is in it, just to be sure I wasn't getting a false reading after adding oil. I had a mazda that was horrible for that. There was a spot that the oil would hold onto just above the dispstick and the drop would rub off onto it on the way out giving a higher reading that what was actually there

If you suspect a problem with either the gauge or the oil pressure, I would recommend checking the pressure with a known good test guage.
